Introduction:
Dan Terry has been an active health and safety professional speaker and consultant for over 18 years and is a fully chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). He is currently employed in over 15 different sectors including Oil and Gas, Power Sector, Manufacturing and Education undertaking tasks from leading safety initiative, retained health and safety advisor, incident investigations through to comprehensive training portfolio risk assessments and the writing and drafting of company polices/procedures.
With staffing costs, and rising legal costs, not to mention how busy and demanding health and safety managers/directors are, it is beneficial to employ the services of an outside competent health and safety advisor in line with the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 (MHSWR 1999) on a retainer basis, this approach has many distinct benefits;
