This course will cover the application of recognised management principles in health and safety and will help the delegate to tackle the issues in their own workplace. The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) have recognised this course as qualifying for their highly regarded Managing Safely Certificate. This level of accreditation is widely recognised as a transferable level of attainment in health & safety. The approach of this course makes it appropriate to all kinds of organisations. The course can be delivered in house and where necessary bespoke to your organisation.
The course applies to sound management principles to safety and health and is part of a total management strategy. It is structured in 8 modules, each requiring several hours of directed study spread over 4 days.

Thorough accident/incident investigation is vital not to mention a legal issue, to help prevent incidents from occurring again and to demonstrate to enforcement authorities and others that appropriate remedial action is or has been taken. This training workshop will enable delegates to identify the root causes of accidents and make quality recommendations aimed at preventing a recurrence. It also explores interviewing techniques and reporting requirements.
